Awareness Camp organized under Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Utkarsh Abhiyan

UDHAMPUR, July 7: As part of the ongoing Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gramin Utkarsh Abhiyan, an Awareness cum 100% Saturation Camp was successfully held today at Village Dhar-Ghaddian, Panchayat Pakhlai, Block Sewna.
The camp was organized under the overall supervision of Programme Officer, Poshan, Shri Subhash Chander, who attended as the chief guest along with JasreenKaur BDO Sewna. He sensitized the local tribal population about various flagship welfare schemes initiated by the Government and reiterated the administration’s commitment to the socio-economic upliftment of tribal communities through saturation of key benefits and provision of essential documentation services.
During the camp, domicile and Scheduled Tribe (ST) certificates were distributed to eligible beneficiaries, facilitating their access to a range of public welfare schemes. The Health Department, in coordination with AYUSH, conducted TB sputum sampling and provided free medicines to the villagers.
To promote environmental awareness, the Forest Department launched a plantation drive and educated the public about the impacts of global warming and the importance of forest conservation. The event concluded with active community participation in the plantation drive, symbolizing a united step toward ecological preservation.
Officials from various line departments also participated, offering on-the-spot services and guidance to the villagers. The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from the tribal population and successfully addressed several of their local issues.
