Doda police organizes medical camp

DODA, July 23: In line with the ongoing efforts to promote a drug-free society and ensure community well-being, Doda Police organized a Medical Camp and a Debate Competition on the theme "Nasha Mukt Bharat" at Government Higher Secondary School, Bhagwah, under the Civic Action Programme (CAP) 2024-25.
The initiative was conducted under the guidance of SSP Doda, and was supervised and coordinated by DySP Headquarters Doda, Sh. Ajay Anand. The event witnessed active participation from a large number of students, teachers, and local residents. During the event: A free medical camp was set up, providing health check-ups and consultations by qualified medical staff. A debate competition was held to spread awareness about the ill effects of drug abuse and to promote the message of a Nasha Mukt (drug-free) society. Students expressed their views passionately, highlighting the dangers of substance abuse and the importance of youth-led awareness.
Speaking on the occasion, DySP Hqrs Doda Sh. Ajay Anand emphasized the role of youth in nation-building and the need to stay away from drugs. He also encouraged students to act as ambassadors of change in their communities.
The event concluded with the distribution of appreciation certificates to participants and a vote of thanks by the school administration, who lauded Doda Police for their proactive community outreach and youth engagement.
