DC Kulgam reviews functioning of Revenue Dept

KULGAM, July 23: To review the functioning of the Revenue department and to ensure efficient and prompt public service delivery in the district, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan on Wednesday chaired a meeting of the Revenue department at Mini-secretariat, here.
During the comprehensive review, progress and status of service delivery was reviewed of each patwar halqa. The meeting held detailed discussion on various issues including, status of online services provided to citizens, digitization of revenue record, removal of encroachment from state/kacharia land, change of Land Use Cases, grievances regarding migrant properties, progress of revenue court cases in different offices, progress of different services under PSGA, progress of Mussavies and Geo-refrencing in each Tehsil.
It also discussed pendency of SRO cases, progress on Land allotment to different departments, vacancy position of Naib Tehsildars in each Tehsil, progress on Samadhan registrations disposal, disposal of grievances on Revenue Plus portal, issuance of Land Pass books to the farmers, Land identification for CAPMA scheme and mutation camps attended.
DC urged the revenue officers to ease out the day to day difficulties of common masses by visiting for on-spot inspections.
The meeting was attended by ADC, Viqar Ahmed Giri; ACR, Reyaz Ahmad Shah; all Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars, Girdawars, besides all Patwaris of revenue department.
