Early Times Report RAMNAGAR, July 30: Government Degree College Ramnagar organized "Yuva Samvad" as part of a series of activities under the "Viksit Bharat Youth Ambassadors - Yuva Connect Programme", under the patronage of Prof. (Dr.) Bhavnaish Chand Anthal, Principal of the College. The programme commenced with a welcome address by Prof. Sanjay Malhotra, Head of the Department of Commerce, who briefed the gathering about the objectives of the Yuva Samvad initiative. He emphasized the need to involve youth in dialogues related to national development and civic responsibility as envisioned under the Viksit Bharat@2047 mission. Dr. Dinesh Kumar, Physical Director of the college, was the resource person for the event. In his remarks, he said "The vision of Viksit Bharat can only be realized when the youth of the country are actively engaged in nation-building, equipped with values of discipline, awareness, and selfless service." He inspired students to become proactive citizens and contribute meaningfully to society. The programme also featured interactive discussions led by students, focusing on the theme of Viksit Bharat. Students enthusiastically shared their thoughts on civic duties, the role of youth in nation-building, and their vision for a developed India. Dr. Pankaj Sharma, Head of the Department of English, also addressed the gathering. He emphasized the significance of the MY Bharat portal and encouraged them to register and participate in various youth engagement opportunities available through the platform. In his address, Prof. (Dr.) Bhavnaish Chand Anthal, Principal of the College, appreciated the efforts of the organizing team and lauded the spirit of the students. He remarked "Youth must be made stakeholders in the developmental journey of India. Such programmes create awareness, ignite ideas, and instill a sense of purpose among students, aligning them with the vision of Viksit Bharat."
