JAMMU, July 30: With the vision to empower young minds through strategic academic and career orientation, an insightful Career Awareness Session was organized on 30th July 2025 for the students of Classes X, XI, and XII. The event featured Dr. Trilok Singh Bisht, a distinguished educationist, acclaimed career consultant, and motivational speaker, as the resource person.
The programme commenced with a formal welcome address delivered by Ms. Divya Rathore, who introduced the objective of the session and emphasized the critical role of guided mentorship during formative academic years. She lauded Dr. Bisht's continued contributions to youth empowerment.
Dr. Bisht delivered an intellectually stimulating session, enlightening students on a diverse spectrum of career trajectories across academic disciplines. His discourse artfully intertwined motivational insights with practical guidance, encouraging students to introspect, identify their inherent aptitudes, and pursue goals aligned with their passions and potential.
The event proceeded with a reflective ice-breaking exercise titled "Know Yourself", wherein students engaged in mapping their intrinsic aptitudes and interest clusters to envisage compatible career paths. Students also designed Vision Boards that visually represented their aspirations and timelines. The session was marked by high student engagement, with a lively interactive segment where complex queries concerning competitive exams, global academia, entrepreneurial ventures, and hybrid careers were addressed with clarity and strategic insight.
In his closing remarks, the Principal, Mr. Pramod Kumar Srivastava, not only expressed sincere gratitude to Dr. Bisht and the organizers but also lauded the session as profoundly impactful, intellectually enriching, and pedagogically transformative.
The event concluded with a formal Vote of Thanks proposed by Mr. J.K.
