Early Times Report JAMMU, July 30: Eight days First-Aid training was organized by the Indian Red Cross Society, J&K UT which concluded on 29th July, 2025 at Red Cross Bhawan Kachi Chawni Jammu for the employees of Berger Paints British Division and Gahardha Chemicals Ltd., Samba under the leadership of Sh. Rohit Khajuria, General Secretary, IRCS-J&K. The lecture was delivered/ demonstrated by Dr.Manpreet Kaur and Dr. Rita Kumari, Medical officers along with Sh. Joginder Kumar, Pharmacist and Smt. Mohna Devi, FMPHW. The participants were trained about the ABC of First-Aid, Traumas, Bleeding and types of bandages, practical demonstration on Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Transportation of injured person etc. The trainees were also apprised of the various techniques of Disaster Management during Earthquakes, Fires, Floods, famine etc. Apart from this, all the queries made by the students regarding the healthy lifestyle and other health issues were cleared by the Doctors and they also provided some tips regarding the healthy lifestyle. A special lecture on drug de-addiction was also given to the participants. The training went quite fruitful and concluded with good positivity. The exam was conducted by Dr. Rita Kumari, Medical Officer along with Ms. Vironica Marwah, Field Officer and Sh. Joginder Kumar, Pharmacist. During the last day of session, Sh. Rohit Khajuria had one on one conversation with the participants and all the participants were issued with Provisional certificates. |
