Early Times Report JAMMU, July 30: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu, under the leadership of Prof. B.S. Sahay, Director, IIM Jammu, and under the aegis of Anandam - The Centre of Happiness, organized a transformative yoga session on the theme "Yoga for Mental Well-being & An Introduction to Inner Engineering" at the Auditorium (Mandapam). Conducted by volunteers from the Isha Foundation, the session was led by Abhishek Singh, a dedicated volunteer who has been associated with the Foundation for the past four years. The session witnessed the presence of Prof. Shyam Narayan Lal, Chairperson, Anandam, IIM Jammu; Brigadier Neeraj Soni, Co-Chairperson, Anandam; and Shri CA Rajat Jain, FA-CAO and Convenor, Anandam, IIM Jammu and Shri Dr. Rashmi Ranjan Parida, Chairperson, MBA Healthcare, IIM Jammu and Shailesh K Lohiya, Librarian, IIM Jammu. The session was well received by the IIM Jammu community and marked another step in the institute's ongoing commitment to promoting holistic well-being and inner growth through Anandam - The Centre of Happiness. The session focused on enhancing mental well-being and self-awareness through yogic science. Key highlights included gentle yet powerful yogic tools, techniques to calm the mind and ease the body, simple practices to strengthen the spine and spirit, a pause from stress and digital overload, and a glimpse into the path of inner reengineering - a science for inner fulfilment. The session also featured insightful video presentations. A video introducing Sadhguru and his philosophy was showcased, offering participants an understanding of the broader vision behind Inner Engineering. Another video on Nadi Shuddhi, a yogic cleansing practice essential for enhancing the mental connection between the brain and energy pathways, was presented. The session concluded with a guided meditation, allowing participants to experience inner clarity and stillness. |
