MAM College, organize Inter-college poster making and slogan writing competition | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, July 30: Government Maulana Azad Memorial College, Jammu under the able guidance of Principal Prof. Archana Kaul, organized an Inter-college Poster Making and Slogan writing competition on 30th of July, 2025 in collaboration with Dean Student Welfare, Cluster University Jammu and Directorate of Extension and Outreach under aegis of Viksit Bharat Yuva Connect Programme. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students representing various colleges of Jammu. The competition was held with the aim of promoting creativity, awareness and expression among youth on the theme "Nasha Mukt Bharat- 'My Campus My Responsibility: Say no to drugs'." Participants showcased their artistic and linguistic talents through vibrant posters and powerful slogans. The event was inaugurated by the esteemed Principal Prof. Archana Kaul who emphasized the importance of creative expression in raising awareness for social concerns and issues. A panel of esteemed judges including Dr. Vibhuti and Dr. Varsha evaluated the posters and Prof. Ruth K. Maeshi and Prof Seema evaluated the slogans on the basis of overall presentation in relevance to the themes. Winners were felicitated with certificates. The first prize in poster- making went to Madhav Sountra (M.A.M College, Jammu), second prize went to Shine Slathia (M.A.M College, Jammu) and third prize went to Priya Sharma (School of Sciences,CLUJ). The certificate of Merit goes to Mansi Rajput (GCOE) and Harsimran Kour (GCOE). The first prize in slogan-writing competition secured by Tanika Chib (GCOE), second position secured by Rupali Sharma (School of Humanities and Liberal Arts, CLUJ) and third position went to Khushi Sharma (GCOE). The certificate of Merit secured by Shakshi (School of Sciences, CLUJ) and Ananya Verma (M.A.M College, Jammu). The prizes and certificates were presented by worthy Principal Prof Archana Kaul, Prof D.S. Manhas, Dean (Dean Student Welfare, CLUJ) and esteemed judges of the event. Faculty of the college and the various coordinators of Viksit Bharat Programme was presented in the event. The event concluded with a formal vote of thanks by Prof. Menaka Rajput. |
