REASI, Aug 13: A grand Mega Tiranga Rally on was organised today in District Reasi to celebrate the spirit of patriotism and unity. The rally commenced from General Zorawar Singh Stadium, via Bus Stand Reasi and Thapa Chowk, before culminating at the DC Office Reasi.
The event saw the enthusiastic participation of Deputy Commissioner Reasi Nidhi Malik, IAS and Senior Superintendent of Police Reasi Paramvir Singh, JKPS, along with Additional Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Additional SP Reasi, Dy.SP Headquarters Reasi, Dy.SP DAR DPL Reasi, officers from the civil administration, and other police officials.
Adding vibrant energy to the rally, students from various schools, local residents, and members of different community group joined in, carrying the national flag and chanting patriotic slogans. The sea of tricolour in the streets of Reasi symbolised national pride and collective commitment towards the unity and integrity of the country.
The Mega Tiranga Rally not only celebrated the forthcoming Independence Day but also fostered a strong sense of belongingness and togetherness among all participants. |
