Early Times Report

Jammu, Aug 13: Special Crime Wing Jammu has filed a chargesheet before the Hon’ble Court against accused Ghulam Mohd S/o Late Sahab Din R/o Mehmoodpur, Jinder Khurd, Bishnah, Jammu for his involvement in a fraudulent land deal.
Giving details of the case, SSP SCW Jammu Sh. Sanjay Parihar said , “The case originated from a complaint duly endorsed by the Hon’ble Court under Section 156(3) CrPC. The complainant alleged that he was lawful owner of 10 marlas of land at Chowadhi, Tehsil & District Jammu, inherited and purchased through registered sale deeds. The accused, without any lawful claim, executed a fake sale deed in 2002, citing false witnesses, and got the property mutated in his name”.
Investigation revealed that the accused impersonated the complainant before the registering authority, used forged documents, and sold the land for personal gain.
“The original sale deed and related documents were seized and expert opinion from the Forensic Science Laboratory confirmed forgery. Statements of witnesses, including one falsely cited as a witness on the sale deed further corroborated the fraud. Moreover, revenue records authenticated by the concerned Patwari confirmed the complainant’s ownership.”, he added.
On the basis of documentary and scientific evidences, offences under Sections 419, 420, 465, 467, 468, 471 RPC got established against the accused person, who was arrested, produced before the Court of Hon’ble Sub Judge Special Mobile Electricity Magistrate Jammu, and the Final Report (Challan) along with the list of witnesses and documents has been submitted for judicial determination.
The case has been very professionally investigated by Inspector Deepak Thakur, under the close supervision of SSP Special Crime Wing (SCW), Sh. Sanjay Parihar.
