Udhampur, Aug 13: As part of the ongoing celebrations of the 79th Independence Day and in alignment with the nationwide Har Ghar Tiranga campaign initiated by the Government of India, Govt Degree College, Neeli Nallah organized a Tiranga Rally on the college premises and adjoining areas. The event was graced by the worthy Principal of the college, Dr. Seema Arora, who flagged off the rally from the college premises. Speaking on the occasion, the Principal highlighted the significance of the Tricolour as the symbol of India’s unity, sovereignty, and rich. The rally marked by vibrant energy, saw the participation of enthusiastic students, along with staff members. Students carried the National Flag, raised spirited slogans, and expressed their patriotic fervour with pride and enthusiasm. The successful organization of the event was made possible through the coordinated efforts of IQAC Convenor Dr Sunil Tanoch, the NSS Unit Program Officer, Prof Shaista Yasmeen and NCORD Convenor, Prof Rekha Sharma. The rally resonated with chants of Bharat Mata ki Jai, celebrating Freedom and Unity as signified in our Tricolor. |
