Tiranga Rallies
8/13/2025 10:40:40 PM
Ahead of Independence Day Tiranga rallies are being taken out across Jammu and Kashmir, recently Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha led a massive Tiranga rally in Srinagar where he reiterated: “Tiranga is my Dharma. Tiranga is my strength. Tiranga is my heartbeat.”
He also observed that it would be a blessing to be born again to serve the country.
The Tiranga rallies in J&K have turned the atmosphere festive with tricolours flying high in the skies. Thousands of people are joining to honour the National Flag, which symbolizes unity, pride and shared identity.
The Tiranga rallies have transformed the mood of the Union Territory. Markets are adorned with miniature flags, schoolchildren march with pride, and cultural performances celebrate India’s diversity.
The tricolour flying high against the backdrop of Kashmir’s serene landscapes creates a visual reminder that the strength of our nation lies in its unity. These rallies are not merely symbolic—they are reaffirmations of the shared identity that transcends religion, region, and language.
In today’s polarised times, the national flag serves as a rare unifier. It does not speak for one political ideology or community; it speaks for the whole of India. It stands for the sacrifices of freedom fighters, the struggles of soldiers guarding our borders, and the aspirations of ordinary citizens striving for a better tomorrow.
The Tiranga is as much about the past as it is about the future—a promise that the values of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity enshrined in our Constitution will guide us forward.
Importantly, these rallies are also instilling a sense of belonging among the youth. For many young participants, waving the tricolour is not only an act of patriotism but also an affirmation of their role in shaping the country’s destiny. The energy and enthusiasm seen on the streets of Srinagar and other towns of J&K suggest that the younger generation is eager to carry forward the torch of unity and progress.
As we approach Independence Day, the message from these Tiranga rallies is clear: the strength of India lies in its ability to stand together despite differences, to celebrate diversity while cherishing unity. The tricolour is not just a national symbol—it is a living heartbeat that binds over a billion people in a common dream. And in that shared dream lies the true essence of freedom.
