JAMMU, Aug 13: The Government Railway Police (GRP) Jammu has apprehended a wanted drug peddler identified as Sunil Kumar, S/o Shrikant Singh, R/o Masudhanpur Baisi, Bhawanpur, Rangra Chowk, District Bhagalpur, Bihar.
The accused was involved in FIR No. 105/2019 under Sections 20/22 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Jokihat, Bihar, and had been absconding during trial proceedings. In this regard, the Hon'ble Court of Session Judge, Araria, Bihar, had issued an arrest warrant against the said accused on 21/07/2022, directing his arrest and production before the Hon'ble Court of Law at Araria, Bihar.
On 23/07/2025, GRP Jammu was arrested with banned drugs in his possession. After lodging FIR No. 29/2025 U/S 8/21 of the NDPS Act and presently lodged at Central Jail, Kot Bhalwal, Jammu. |
