Massive Tiranga Rally held at IGNOU Jammu

JAMMU, Aug 13: Jammu Regional Centre of IGNOU organized a massive Tiranga Rally in the wake of "Har Ghar Tiranga" campaign foreseeing the 79th Independence Day Celebrations. Leader of Opposition, Sunil Sharma, former Deputy Mayor and General Secretary of BJP, Shri Baldev Singh Bloeria and Dr. Sandeep Gupta, Regional Director, Regional Centre Jammu lead the rally. The entire management and staff of the Regional Centre including Assistant Regional Directors Dr. Asha Upadhyay, Dr. Vikram Singh and Dr. Zeba, Deputy Registrar S. Tejinder Pal Singh, Assistant Registrar Dara Singh participated in the rally. Superintendent of Police (Headquarter), Irshad Rather, DTI, Anil Raina, CRPF personnel from Group Centre Bantalab, NCC cadets, Coordinators of LSCs and a number of students were part of the rally.
The sight of the massive rally with a disciplined CRPF contingent, vibrant with the colours of the national flag, evoked deep patriotic fervour among the public. Many local residents spontaneously joined the rally, raising spirited slogans of "Bharat Mata Ki Jai" and "Vande Mataram," creating an atmosphere charged with unity and national pride.
The massive Tiranga rally went around the vicinity of the Regional Centre creating awareness and highlighting the importance of hoisting the National Flag at every house. The participants exhibited a sense of belonging, patriotism and allegiance to the national campaign with an impressive wave of patriotic fervor and public participation.
LoP Sunil Sharma said that these rallies and initiatives reinforce the significance of the "Har Ghar Tiranga" campaign as a reminder of the sacrifices made for India's freedom and an appeal to every citizen to embrace the national flag with pride.
Baldev Singh Bloeria remarked that The 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign and the accompanying rallies stand as a powerful testament to the enduring spirit of unity, commitment, and love for the nation that resonates deeply within the hearts of Indians as the country moves towards a Viksit Bharat by 2047.
SP HQ. Shri Irshad Rather congratulated the Regional Centre management for organizing such a vibrant rally and expressed that these rallies, held under the umbrella of the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign, aim to foster a deeper connection between citizens and the national flag, transforming it into a personal expression of national pride and unity. Concluding the event, Regional Director, Dr. Sandeep Gupta addressed the assembled gathering, highlighting the significance of the "Har Ghar Tiranga" initiative as a reminder of the sacrifices made for India's freedom and as an appeal to every citizen to proudly hoist the national flag at their residences.
The rally served as a symbolic reminder of India's hard-won independence, reinforcing the values of unity, commitment, and love for the nation.
