Early Times Report LEH, Aug 13: In a decisive statement against crime, the Principal Sessions Judge (Special Judge) Leh, Manoj Parihar, has delivered yet another landmark verdict in cases prosecuted by Assistant Public Prosecutor Nawang Nurbu. In the this judgment, Bashir Ahmad Paray, S/o Ali Mohd Paray, R/o Keller, Pulwama, Kashmir, was convicted by Manoj Parihar for making forged school discharge certificate and using the same as genuine to secure bail - a calculated act of deception that strikes at the very foundation of judicial integrity. Earlier, in a major NDPS case, Dhoni Chand of Kullu, Himachal Pradesh, was convicted for possessing 8.19 kg of Charas and sentenced to 12 years' rigorous imprisonment along with a Rs 1 lakh fine.
