Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 27: Following unprecedented rains and extreme weather in Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, and Himachal Pradesh, Airtel has announced special measures to support its customers. As per a spokesperson of the telecom service provider, prepaid users whose plans are expiring this week will get a three-day extension with unlimited calls and 1GB data per day, even if they are unable to recharge. Similarly, the postpaid and broadband customers will receive a three-day grace period for bill payments to ensure uninterrupted services. To further help users stay connected, Intra-Circle Roaming (ICR) has been enabled across Jammu, Kashmir, and Himachal Pradesh, allowing customers to access other available networks. “Airtel teams are working on the ground to restore normal services at the earliest,” the spokesperson said. He said Airtel remains committed to keeping people connected during these challenging times. |
