early times report

Jammu, Sept 2: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Rohiin Chandan today hailed the transformative vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, declaring that India is on the cusp of a technological revolution that will redefine its role in the global semiconductor industry. Chandan emphasized that under PM Modi’s vibrant leadership, India is not only gaining the world’s trust but is also set to drive monumental change through its advancements in semiconductor technology.
“India’s smallest chip will soon power the world’s biggest change,” Chandan proclaimed, underscoring the nation’s rapid strides in innovation and manufacturing. This bold assertion reflects the growing recognition of India as a reliable partner in the global technology ecosystem, driven by the Modi government’s forward-thinking policies and commitment to self-reliance.
He emphasized that the day is not far when the world will celebrate India’s technological prowess with the mantra, “Designed in India, Made in India, Trusted by the World.” The government’s strategic initiatives, such as the India Semiconductor Mission and Production-Linked Incentive (PLI) schemes, have attracted significant investments and partnerships, paving the way for India to emerge as a leader in the semiconductor industry.
Under PM Modi’s leadership, India has witnessed unprecedented progress in creating a robust ecosystem for semiconductor design and production. Chandan noted that the government’s emphasis on good governance, ease of doing business, and infrastructure development has made India an attractive destination for global tech giants. “Our policies are enabling both domestic and international players to collaborate with India, ensuring that we not only meet global demands but also set new benchmarks in quality and innovation,” he said.
He also highlighted the socio-economic impact of this transformation, stating that the semiconductor industry will create thousands of high-skill jobs, empower youth, and boost India’s economy. “This is not just about technology; it’s about building a future where India leads with confidence and competence,” Chandan added.
