| MLA Inderwal calls on Omar, lists demands | | |  Early Times Report
Srinagar, Sept 18: Today, I met with Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, highlighting the pressing issues faced by the people of Inderwal constituency, following the recent flash floods and ongoing road crises.
Additional Ration Supplies. Over 910 families across 5 blocks urgently need ration for 3 months under PDS due to devastation.
Repair & Upgradation of Vailoo–Bhanderkoot Road. This road is a lifeline for the people of this area. I urged the project to be handed over to agencies like BEACON or NHIDCL for maintenance.
Financial Assistance for Damaged Homes/Shops. Over 344 families have lost homes, shops, cow sheds.
Current SDRF aid of Rs 1.30 lakh per family is insufficient. Requested enhanced relief from the Chief Minister’s Care Fund.
Thankful to the Hon’ble CM for giving a patient hearing and assuring positive intervention. |
