JAMMU, Sept 18: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has ordered the constitution of District Level Steering Committees across the Union Territory for implementing the Lakhpati Didi Initiative, with Deputy Commissioners as chairpersons and senior officers from development, agriculture, horticulture, animal husbandry, industries, cooperatives, banks, NABARD, ITIs and the Rural Livelihood Mission as members, tasked with advising on strategy, ensuring coordination, monitoring progress, and recommending measures for effective implementation of the scheme. |
