DC distributes 52 sanction letters to promote youth entrepreneurship | | | Early Times Report KISHTWAR, Sept 18: J&K Bank today organised 'Udyami Yuva Day' event here in the Conference Hall New DC Office Complex as part of its ongoing efforts to promote self-employment and entrepreneurship under the Mission YUVA initiative. The programme began with a welcome address by Cluster Head, J&K Bank Khurshid Ahmed Akhoon. He reaffirmed the bank's commitment to extend seamless financial services and support to entrepreneurs across all sections of society. Deputy Commissioner, Pankaj Kumar Sharma graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and handed over 52 sanction letters to beneficiaries under the Mission YUVA scheme. The aspiring entrepreneurs received financial assistance sanction letters to establish their different modes of self-employment ventures such as manufacturing, trade and services. The General Manager J&K Bank, Peer Masood Chishti emphasized the importance of the productive utilization of credit and timely repayment to ensure financial discipline and sustainable growth. Zonal Head J&K Bank Vinay Gupta encouraged the beneficiaries to transform their ventures into successful enterprises and contribute to local economic development. The Deputy Commissioner lauded J&K Bank's proactive role in fostering youth entrepreneurship and urged the beneficiaries to pursue their ventures with sincerity, innovation, and dedication so as to become job creators in the near future. The event was attended by ADC Pawan Kotwal, other officers of J&K Bank and Mission Yuva beneficiaries. |
