Jammu, Sept 30: The Department of Hindi and Other Indian Languages, Central University of Jammu, released the latest edition of its quarterly wall magazine ‘Sharda’.
The release ceremony was graced by the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. Sanjeev Jain, in the presence of distinguished guests Sh. Jagdish Singh, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Samba; Shri Sanjay Puri, Chairman and Managing Director, PBI India; and Smt. Urmila Lata, Deputy General Manager, NABARD (J&K), who jointly unveiled the magazine.
Welcoming the dignitaries, Head of the Department, Prof. Bharat Bhushan, highlighted the academic and cultural initiatives of the department. The Chief Editor of the magazine, Dr. Shashikant Mishra, shared the objectives of ‘Sharda’ and apprised the guests of the commendable efforts of the editors of this issue, research scholars Anshu Kumari and Vishnu.
Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Sanjeev Jain congratulated the contributors and the editorial team, encouraging them to further strengthen the outreach and visibility of the magazine.
The event concluded with a formal vote of thanks proposed by Prof. Bharat Bhushan. Faculty members, research scholars, and students of the department were present on the occasion. |
