early timse report

Srinagar, Sept 30: In continuation of the swachhta drive "Sewa Parv" initiated by PHQ J&K, a special cleanliness drive was organized today at Security Headquarters, Srinagar. The drive was conducted under the directions of Sh. Sujit Kumar, IPS, IGP Security J&K, with the larger objective of promoting cleanliness, hygiene, and environmental consciousness among the staff and officers.
The event witnessed enthusiastic and wholehearted participation from officers and staff of Security Headquarters, who came together with a shared resolve to keep their workplace and surroundings clean. Prominent officers, including Sh. Rakesh Kumar, JKPS, SO to IGP Security J&K, Sh. Musadiq Majid Basu, JKPS, SP (Tech), and others, took part in the drive.
During the program, the participants actively engaged in cleaning the office premises, corridors, lawns, and surrounding areas, setting a fine example of teamwork, discipline, and commitment towards the national vision of "Clean India - Green India." The participants emphasized the need for proper waste management and regular maintenance of a clean environment in and around the office complex.
The officers highlighted that cleanliness is not just an act but a collective responsibility and a way of life. A clean and organized workplace contributes immensely towards better health, improved efficiency, and a positive work culture. The staff members were urged to make such cleanliness activities a sustained practice rather than a one-time event.
The initiative reflected the dedication and commitment of Security Headquarters towards the national "Swachhta Mission" and served as a source of inspiration for all ranks to meaningfully contribute in their own capacities. By joining hands in this noble cause, the officers and staff of SHQ demonstrated that collective efforts, no matter how small, can bring about significant change in society.
The program concluded with a reaffirmation of the pledge to continue such cleanliness campaigns in the future, ensuring that Security Headquarters remains a model of hygiene, discipline, and environmental responsibility.
