Vishwa Bharti College of Education organizes seminar | | | early times report
Jammu, Sept 30: Vishwa Bharti College of Education organized a seminar on “Impact of Recent Floods on Education in J&K”. The young speakers were brought together on a platform where they displayed their oratory skills and critical thinking abilities. The key topics were infrastructure Damage, School closures, Academic Disruption and responses, loss of learning resources, psychological and social impacts, Government and administrative response and financial impacts on students and institutions. The students highlighted and emphasised the atrocities brought by the recent floods. The management of Vishwa Bharati College of Education appreciated the efforts and topic chosen by students. In his address Honble President V.B Women’s welfare Institution Dr. S.K.Koul praised the students for their efforts and laid emphasis on the safety of the schools and colleges after such devastating conditions. He urged the Government to help the colleges in restoration of infrastructure by approving a comprehensive packages. Sh. Yoginder Koul, Treasurer V.B. College of Education also appreciated and praised the efforts of students. He encouraged students to organise such workshops and seminars in future also. Sh. Virender Dembi, member RAC also spoke on the occasion. The seminar ended with the Prize distribution which was bagged by Tania Katal, and Rubby Bhagat.
