Police sources described the operation as part of a larger intelligence-driven effort to pre-empt and disrupt emerging terror conspiracies that pose a threat to public peace and national security. A senior police officer said the operation was a clear message to anti-national elements that any attempt to revive or sustain terror networks in Srinagar will be met with decisive action. “Srinagar Police is fully committed to dismantling every layer of the terror support structure. Anyone found aiding, abetting, or sheltering terrorists will face the full force of the law,” the officer asserted. This sweeping crackdown reflects the unwavering resolve of Srinagar Police to maintain peace, ensure public safety, and safeguard the city from attempts to destabilize it through terror-linked activities. |
