Jammu, Nov 8: A day after Lok Sabha member from Jammu–Reasi constituency, Jugal Kishore Sharma, joined the campaign for party candidate Divyani Rana, the BJP managed to pacify disgruntled leader Nand Kishore Sharma, signaling unity in its ranks ahead of the Nagrota Assembly byelection.
Upset over being denied the party mandate, Nand Kishore Sharma on Saturday joined the BJP’s election rally and extended his full support to Divyani Rana. His return to the campaign fold is being viewed as a significant morale booster for the party, particularly in the Dansal block, where the BJP faces a stiff challenge from the National Conference (NC) and the Panthers Party.
By bringing Nand Kishore Sharma back into the campaign, the BJP has sought to send out a strong message of solidarity and cohesion before polling day.

ned the Nagrota campaign on Thursday to strengthen support for Divyani Rana, daughter of the late Devender Singh Rana. The BJP high command had earlier deputed him for campaign duties in the Bihar Assembly elections but recalled him to Jammu after reports indicated a closely contested battle in key pockets of the constituency.
Party insiders said the decision to deploy Jugal Kishore Sharma in Nagrota was taken following internal feedback that the contest was tightening, particularly in the Dansal block, where NC candidate Shamim Begum and Panthers Party nominee Harsh Dev Singh are mounting a strong challenge.
A native of Dansal, Jugal Kishore Sharma is known for his strong personal rapport with voters across the region. His active participation in the campaign, along with the return of his younger brother Nand Kishore Sharma, is expected to give the BJP a decisive edge by energizing the cadre and consolidating the vote base.
