JAMMU, Nov 15: Dr. Ashu Sharma, an established litterateur, translator, awarded with the Yuva Sahitya Academy Award of Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi in Dogri language and youth President of the youth unit of Dogri Bhasha Academy, Jammu has beed conferred with the Ph.D in Dogri in the convocation of Jammu University on 13th of November, 2025 at General Zorawar Singh Auditorium, Jammu University. She completed her research work under the estimated guidance of Professor Sushma Sharma on the topic "Dogri Natkain ch Samajik Chetna (2000 tagar)''
It Is worth noting that Dr. Ashu Sharma has been creating literature for the last several years. So far, about a dozen of her books have been published. She has also been awarded the Yuva Puraskar 2022 by the Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi for her collection of short stories in dogri language entitled "Kathaputli". She was associated with the dogri bhasha academy for the last 12 years. She has been actively involved in the cultural and literary activities organized by the Dogri bhasha academy time to time. |
