Udhampur, Nov 16: DAKSHI successfully organised its national festival of knowledge, Gyānparv’25/82, on 14–15 November 2025 at Ramjas College, University of Delhi. The two-day event brought together scholars, students and cultural practitioners to explore India’s intellectual traditions and living heritage. The festival opened with Vedic chanting and an address by DAKSHI Director Shri Akshit Kumar Bhadauria. Chief Guest Padma Shri Prof. Bharat Gupt, along with several distinguished speakers, discussed the relevance of Indian knowledge systems in modern times. Sessions covered themes including Indian philosophy, Itihāsa–Purāṇa studies, archaeology, temple heritage, traditional sciences and performing arts. A major highlight was the launch of DAKSHI Publications – Gyānparv’25/82 Edition, featuring new magazines, newsletters, research compilations and two books—Voices from Stone and Niyati. The event also hosted a National Conference on Indian knowledge systems and released the multilingual Delhi Declaration on IKS. Cultural performances, poetry, and heritage activities added vibrancy to the festival, which also honoured volunteers and collaborating institutions. The event concluded with a collective commitment to further strengthen research and public engagement in Indian knowledge systems, followed by closing remarks from DAKSHI Secretary Shri Kartik Yadav.
