Early Times Report UDHAMPUR, Dec 1: To commemorate World AIDS Day, the Red Ribbon Club of Government College for Women (GCW) Udhampur in collaboration with the J&K AIDS Control Society, Department of Health & Medical Education, Government of J&K, and under the aegis of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), organized an impactful Nukkad Natak followed by an Awareness Pledge on the theme "Overcoming Disruption, Transforming the AIDS Response" today at the college campus. The programme was conducted under the able guidance of the Principal of the College, Dr. Nalini Pathania. On the occasion, Prof. Lekh Raj, HoD Physics, graced the event as the Special Guest and addressed the audience, highlighting the significance of awareness, prevention, and collective responsibility in combating HIV/AIDS. A theme-based Nukkad Natak, presented by the students of the Department of Music Youshika & Group, captivated and educated the audience. The performance was highly appreciated for its impactful message and engaging presentation. Following the Nukkad Natak, all participants took a pledge reaffirming their commitment to supporting the AIDS response and promoting awareness. The entire programme was coordinated under the supervision of Dr. Neha Gupta, Convener, Red Ribbon Club, with active support from Prof. Pardeep Singh, Dr. Sanjay Kumar, Prof. Yash Kumar, and Prof. Sunil Mangotra, Members of the Red Ribbon Club. |
