Jammu, Dec 10: Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association, Jammu (JKHCBAJ) convened its General House Meeting on December 10, 2025, (Wednesday) bringing together members to deliberate on important matters concerning the affairs of the Bar. The meeting provided a comprehensive platform for the office bearers to update members on the achievements of the current Bar team during their tenure.
Throughout the meeting, the office bearers highlighted significant milestones achieved and the works which are accomplished by Bar Team since elected.
The President of Association Sr. Adv Nirmal K. Kotwal Showcased the ongoing projects, and outlined future initiatives which are in the pipeline and yet to be completed aimed at furthering the welfare and professional development of the Bar community. Members engaged actively in discussions, reflecting a shared commitment to strengthening the Association.
In recognition of the Bar team’s dedicated leadership and successful efforts, the members present unanimously resolved to extend the tenure of the current Bar Team. This extension will allow the team to continue advancing their initiatives and fulfill the ongoing projects critical to the Association’s progress.
Apart from office bearers of the J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu S. Baldev Singh (Vice-President), Pardeep Majotra (General Secretary), Anshu Mahajan (Joint Secretary), Rahul Aggarwal (Treasurer) and team of Young Lawyers Association, Amandeep Sharma (President), Bhagirath Singh (Vice-President), Saksham Gupta (General Secretary), Hitesh Koul (Joint Secretary), the General House was attended by various members of Association which includes Sr. Adv Leela Karan Sharma, Sr Adv D.R. Khajuria, Sr Adv M.K. Bhardwaj (Former President), Sr. Adv P.N. Goja, Sh. D.S. Saini (Former President), Adv V.B. Gupta, Adv K.L. Pandita, Adv JP Gandhi, Adv Sheikh Shakeel, Adv RS Kotwal, Adv DS Parihar, Adv Vinod Abrol, Adv Ashok Sharma, Adv Sachin Gupta, Adv Meenu Koul, Adv Umesh Sharma, Adv Raghubir Singh, Adv Anoop Parihar, Adv Vinod Kotwal, Adv Nitin Sambyal, Adv K.L. The President of the Association in the meeting also thanked the Hon’ble Chief Justice of J&K and Ladakh and his companion of Judges for providing all kind of support to the present Bar Team and its members and upholding the integrity & dignity of the Institution. JKHCBAJ expresses sincere gratitude to all members for their unwavering trust and steadfast support. The association remains deeply committed to upholding the highest standards of excellence and integrity in serving the legal fraternity and advancing the interests of legal profession with dedication and honour.
