Jammu, Dec 10: The High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh has notified 15 days of winter vacation for the District Courts of Kashmir Province and select courts of Jammu Division, besides all courts in the Union Territory of Ladakh, from January 1, 2026 to January 15, 2026 (both days inclusive). As per the notification issued by the Office of the Registrar General, the winter break will also be observed by courts located in District Kishtwar, District Doda, Batote, Gool, Banihal and Ukhral in District Ramban, and Bani in District Kathua. The High Court has directed the Principal District and Sessions Judges and Chief Judicial Magistrates of the concerned districts to make suitable arrangements for the disposal of urgent criminal matters arising during the vacation period within their respective jurisdictions.
