Doda, Dec 10: Doda Police averted a tragic incident today through swift and timely action. A woman )name withheld) Iqra,R/o Kahara, Tehsil Gandoh, District Doda, attempted to end her life by jumping into the river Chenab near Pul Doda.
Acting promptly, the police party from Police Post Pul Doda rescued her and prevented the loss of a precious life. Following the rescue, her legal heirs were immediately informed. After completing all necessary legal formalities, the woman was safely handed over to her family.
