RAJOURI, Dec 10: SSP Rajouri along with SHO Kandi and Officers from CRPF and 43 RR conducted VDG Divas at Police Post Peeri. During the programme all Village Defence Committee (VDC) members from adjoining villages were assembled and briefed on the latest SOPs and guidelines issued by the DGP J&K regarding the functioning, vigilance and operational readiness of VDGs/VDCs.
VDC members from the following villages participated in the event: Dharsakri, Rehan, Prori Brahmana, Gakhrote
All participants were sensitized about maintaining heightened vigilance in their respective areas timely sharing of information with the local police and security forces and ensuring proper custody, upkeep, and maintenance of Arms and ammunition. |
