Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 10: Students of Delhi Public School Jammu have qualified for the National Singing & Dance Sports Championship 2025. They participated in the Jammu & Kashmir Singing and Dance Sports Trials held on 7th December 2025, organized by Harman Dance Institute, Jammu. In the trials, the following six talented students from DPS Jammu showcased their skills across various dance styles: o Vrinda Sharma (VI-A): 1st Prize in Free Style (Junior Category) o Nivriti Kohli (VI-H): 1st Prize in Punjabi Fusion Dance (Junior Category) o Sanvi Kohli (VI-G): 2nd Prize in Punjabi Dance (Junior Category) o Samairya Gupta (V-J): 2nd Prize in Kathak Dance (Junior Category) o Hasrat Gupta (III-H): 2nd Prize in Hip-Hop Dance (Sub-Junior Category) o Mahira Tandon (I-F): 2nd Prize in Western Dance (Sub-Junior Category) All participating students also received certificates and awards of appreciation for their outstanding performances. The National Level Dance Championship is scheduled to be held in Asansol, West Bengal, on 6th and 7th January, 2026. The esteemed management of DPS Jammu, under the leadership of President-RCT M.K. Ajatshatru Singh, Distinguished PVC Kunwarani Dr. Ritu Singh, Director S.S. Sodhi, along with Principal Ruchi Chabra and the staff, congratulated the students on their commendable performance. They also extended their best wishes for the upcoming national event and for all future endeavours. |
