SHIMLA, Jan 7: Bhupender Gupta, Chairman & Managing Director, SJVN, informed that under its Corporate Social Responsibility, SJVN has extended financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh to the Mukhya Mantri Sukh Aashray Kosh under Mukhya Mantri Sukh Aashray Scheme in Himachal Pradesh. The cheque was presented to Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Sukhvinder Singh, in presence of Hon'ble Speaker of Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha, Kuldeep Singh Pathania and Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (HoFF), Sanjay Sood by Vikas Marwah, Head of Project, Rampur Hydro Power Station and Vivek Sharma, Head of Project, Luhri Hydro Power Project (Stage-I). Ajay Kumar Sharma, Director (Personnel), SJVN and Chairman, SJVN Foundation, stated that Mukhya Mantri Sukh Aashray Scheme, launched by the Government of Himachal Pradesh, is a significant step towards ensuring comprehensive care, protection and long-term support for orphaned, abandoned and surrendered children across the state. The support extended by SJVN Foundation will contribute towards meeting the future needs related to education, healthcare, nutrition, housing, skill development and overall rehabilitation of the beneficiary children.
