UCO Bank's 84th Foundation Day celebrated with enthusiasm in Chandigarh

CHANDIGARH, Jan 7: UCO Bank's 84th Foundation Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervour across the Chandigarh Zone. On this occasion, several social and customer-centric activities were organised at various branches of the zone. As part of the Foundation Day celebrations, a Blood Donation and Free Health Check-up Camp was organised for customers and staff members at UCO Bank, Sector 17B Branch. On the same occasion, the Zonal Head Mr. Milan Dubey carried out a plantation drive at Sector 35, Chandigarh, in the presence of the area Corporator Ms. Premlata. Health check-up camps were also organised at Sunny Enclave, Patiala and Mohali branches, where a large number of customers and staff members participated and availed the benefits. A Cultural Evening was organised to mark the occasion, wherein Mr. Lalit Jain, IAS graced the event as the Chief Guest. While welcoming the Chief Guest, Zonal Head Mr. Milan Dubey stated that all branches under Chandigarh Zone are working with greater dedication and commitment to achieve the targets set by the Head Office. He further highlighted that during the past year, the Chandigarh Zone has delivered consistent and improved performance and has achieved new milestones in deposit and loan portfolios. The zone has also performed well in the areas of digital banking, retail lending and bancassurance. The Chief Guest, Mr. Lalit Jain, IAS, appreciated the services rendered by UCO Bank and lauded the cultural performances presented by the staff members and their family members. The programme, which lasted for more than three hours, featured several captivating performances.
On the occasion of the Foundation Day, senior officials from other banks and retired employees of UCO Bank were invited and honoured. Customer meetings were also organised at various centres under the zone. All branches were tastefully decorated and sweets were distributed among customers.
