| Indian Army conducted a medical camp at Salani, Rajouri | | | Early Times Report RAJOURI, Jan 7: Indian Army conducted a Medical Camp at Kasblari under Operation Sadbhavana in the remote area of Salani, in Poonch District on 07 Jan 2026. The camp aimed at providing free medical health check-up and distribution of medicines to the underprivileged and backward classes of the community. The people residing in these areas usually settle in remote areas inaccessible by roads and face a dearth of proper medical care especially during winters. An outreach program in form of medical camp was conducted to extend medical & health care services to these people wherein the team want out of its way to reach the inaccessible area. In addition to the free medical check-up, medicines for common ailments and seasonal disease were also provided to the people. The combat under supervision trained doctors conducted the medical camp to reach out to the needy and aggrieved people in these remote areas. While tending to their ailments, people were also motivated to avail government health schemes. The gratitude of the populace was visible in eyes of the beneficiaries and blessings of elders. The people of these community thanked the Indian Army for their endeavour to support the local populace and expressed their gratitude towards the initiative of the Indian Army. |
