Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, Feb 6: Night temperatures across Jammu and Kashmir continued to remain below normal, with all weather stations in the Kashmir Valley recording sub-zero minimums, even as the Meteorological Department predicted largely dry weather over the coming days. On February 9, light rain or snow may occur at isolated higher altitudes during the night hours. This will be followed by generally cloudy conditions on February 10, with a chance of light rain or snow accompanied by gusty winds at many places.
The weather on February 11 is expected to remain partly to generally cloudy, with light rain or snow possible at scattered locations. Thereafter, February 12 and 13 are forecast to remain dry.
Cloud cover is likely to increase again on February 14, with a possibility of light snowfall at isolated higher reaches, while February 15 and 16 are expected to remain partly to generally cloudy without any significant precipitation. Overall no major rain or snow forecast over the entire J&K till February 16," MeT said.
Meanwhile, night temperatures across Jammu and Kashmir continued to remain below normal, with all weather stations in the Valley recording sub-zero minimums
