Cricket Tournament organized by Indian Bank Officers' Association - Chandigarh

CHANDIGARH, Feb 17: Indian Bank, one of the oldest and leading nationalized banks in the country, continues to uphold its commitment to nation-building while also fostering unity and camaraderie among its officers. In line with this spirit, the Indian Bank Officers' Association (affiliated with AIIBOA & AIBOC), Chandigarh Unit, under the leadership of Sachin Katiyar, General Secretary, successfully organized a two-day Inter-Zone Cricket Tournament on 14th and 15th February 2026.
The tournament was graced by the presence of Sushmit Banerjee, Field General Manager, Chandigarh Circle, and Subhash, Zonal Head, Jalandhar Zone, who presided over the event and encouraged the participating teams. Their presence added great enthusiasm and motivation to the players.
Eight teams from different zones participated in the tournament, namely Amritsar Kings, Jalandhar Strikers, Dhauladhar XI, Karnal Kings XI, Ludhiana Lions, Chandigarh Super Kings, Chandigarh Titans, and Peak Predators. The matches were played with remarkable energy, discipline, and sportsmanship over the two days.
After intense and competitive matches, Chandigarh Super Kings, under the captaincy of Roshan, emerged as the champions of the tournament. Ludhiana Lions, led by Anurag, secured the runner-up position with an impressive performance throughout the tournament.
The tournament not only provided a platform for recreation and healthy competition but also strengthened inter-zone bonding and reinforced the spirit of unity and teamwork among the officers of Indian Bank.
