Taking a dig at the political turmoil in Punjab following his recent visits to the neighboring state, the Chief Minister said that both Congress and AAP governments have mismanaged Punjab's finances, whereas Haryana remains number one in economic management. He expressed confidence that the BJP will form the government in Punjab in the forthcoming election and will uplift the economy under Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi's leadership. Clarifying opposition allegations regarding the hiring of youths from other states through the HPSC, the Chief Minister said that the Haryana government is committed to provide the jobs purely on merit basis. As youth from Haryana secure jobs in Punjab, UP, Rajasthan, and Himachal Pradesh, candidates from other states can be selected in Haryana based strictly on merit and transparency. |
