5 NoK provided compensation at Kishtwar

KISHTWAR, Mar 12: In a considerate gesture to ease the hardship of grieving families, Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Pankaj Kumar Sharma today disbursed Rs. 5 lakh under the J&K Road Accident Victim Fund (JKRAVF) as compensation in favor of the Next of Kin (NoK) of accident victims.
An amount of Rs 1 lakh each was disbursed to the legal heirs of five deceased victims of the road accidents. The same were recommended by the Office of the Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO).
The government initiative aims to extend support to those affected by such tragic incidents and underscores its ongoing commitment to assist bereaved families.
The families who received compensation included Shivani Devi D/o Lt. Bansi Lal R/o Bhagna Gujjar Basti Nagseni, Nowsheena Begum W/o Lt. Masood Ahmed R/o Palmar, Dolat Ram S/o Prem Nath R/o Tagood, Anju Bala W/o Lt. Jarman Singh R/o vill Neera Rahalthal Kishtwar and Kajal Devi W/o Suman Kumar R/o Bhatna Nagar Dharbadan Thakrie
