KPs express gratitude to Chief Secretary for chairing high level review meeting on Displaced migrants and other issues

JAMMU, Mar 12: A meeting of prominent socio political leaders and activists of the displaced migrant community was today held which was chaired by M.K.Yogi senior KP leader and presided over by Vinod Pandita a notable social activist of the community in which large number of Dispalced kashmiri migrants participated regarding the outcome of the recently held detailed meeting of a KP delegation with Chief Secretary J&K in his office chamber with a detailed Memorandum
M K Yogi while speaking in the meeting apprised the assembly about the chater of genuine demands put before worthy chief Secretary in the recent held meeting with him which included Promotion matters of PM package employees, their accommodation issues and issuance of passing afresh directions to all the Dy. Commissioners for addressing the migrant land grievances in a time bound period under immovable migrant property act 1997 and construction of additional quarters for the migrants and other community major issues & expressed gratitude to worthy Chief secretary for passing directions on all important issues apprised by the delegation recently in a high level review meeting chaired by him.
M.K.Yogi senior leader of the community while speaking in the meeting also expressed gratitude to Chief secretary on behalf of entire community for chairing a high level review meeting and passing on spot directions regarding the promotion matters of PM package employees, their accommodation issues, fast track disposal of migrant land grievances issues at custodian level in valley and construction of additional quarters for migrants as prayed during the recent delegation meet with worthy Chief Secretary.
Yogi and Pandita urged the Government of India, Lt. Governor J&K to frame a concrete return and rehabilitation policy for kashmiri pandits back in valley in a time bound period to resettle more than five lakh kashmir pandits back in valley and enhancement of meager monthly cash assistance from rupees 13000 to rupees 25000 per month in view of high rise in daily essential commodities as this hapless community has full faith in their leadership and dynamism and have still pinned great hopes in present NDA Government.
Other prominent persons who attended the meeting and spoke were Vishal Jotshi, Ashok Dhar, Anil Bhan, Sanjay Raina, Ashok Kumar Koul, M.K.Koul, Ashok Pandita, Bal kridhan Bhat , Dr. Rohit Koul, Surinder Koul, Jyoti Dhar, Urmila kanth and Dazy and vote of thanks was presented by Anil Bhan a young community activist.
