Mehbooba Mufti chairs PDP Srinagar meeting, calls for grassroots strengthening

SRINAGAR, Apr 10: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) President Mehbooba Mufti today chaired a meeting of district Srinagar leaders at the party headquarters.
Addressing the meeting, Mehbooba Mufti asked party leaders and workers to gear up for the upcoming Municipal elections. She stressed the need for strengthening the party at the grassroots level by reaching out to people and actively engaging with them. She also directed leaders to highlight public grievances and take them up with the concerned authorities for timely redressal.
The meeting was attended by party General Secretary Khursheed Alam, former ministers Naeem Akhtar and Aasiya Naqash, former MLAs Peer Mansoor Hussain and Anjum Fazili, party spokesperson Iqbal Tramboo, District President Abdul Qayoom Bhat, constituency in-charges, youth leaders, and zone presidents.
Those who spoke on the occasion included Khursheed Alam, Naeem Akhtar, Aasiya Naqash, Peer Mansoor, Arif Laigroo and Abdul Qayoom Bhat.
The speakers emphasized the importance of unity within the party and reiterated the commitment to serve the people by addressing their concerns effectively.
