| Rajouri police conducts awareness programmes under Nasha Mukt J&K Abhiyan | | | Early Times Report RAJOURI, May 7: Rajouri Police organised awareness programmes under the Nasha Mukt J&K Abhiyan at different locations in the district to educate the public especially youth about the harmful effects of narcotics. At International High School Manjakote an awareness programme was organised by PS Manjakote in which students and staff members actively participated. During the session, participants were sensitised about the ill effects of drug abuse its adverse impact on individuals and society, and the importance of leading a healthy and drug-free life. The students were also encouraged to spread awareness in society and contribute actively towards building a drug-free nation. Nowshera Police organised an awareness programme under the Nasha Mukt J&K Abhiyan at Panchayat Dharat Nowshera. The programme was attended by the Ex-Sarpanch Lambardar Prominent citizens and local youth. Participants were made aware about the dangers of drug abuse and motivated to extend full support in eradicating the drug menace from society through active community participation. Rajouri Police reiterated its commitment towards creating a drug-free society and appealed to the public, particularly the youth, to stay away from drugs and cooperate with police in the fight against narcotics. |
