| Himalaya Wellness donates six Feeding Pods to AIIMS Jammu under CSR initiative | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, May 7: In a significant step towards strengthening mother and child-friendly healthcare services, Himalaya Wellness Company has donated six Feeding Pods to All India Institute of Medical Sciences Jammu under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. The specially designed Feeding Pods have been installed across key patient care areas within the institute to provide nursing mothers with a safe, private, hygienic, and comfortable space for breastfeeding and infant feeding. The initiative aims to support lactating mothers visiting the hospital and promote a more inclusive and compassionate healthcare environment. The Feeding Pods were formally inaugurated in the presence of senior officials and faculty members of AIIMS Jammu. The aesthetically designed units are equipped to ensure privacy and convenience for mothers while caring for their infants within the hospital premises. Speaking on the occasion, Prof. (Dr.) D. N. Sharma, ED & CEO, AIIMS Jammu appreciated the initiative and stated that such collaborations play an important role in enhancing patient-centric healthcare infrastructure. He emphasized that the installation of Feeding Pods reflects AIIMS Jammu's continued commitment towards ensuring dignity, comfort and supportive facilities for women and children visiting the Institute. He further noted that creating mother-friendly spaces within healthcare institutions is essential for promoting infant nutrition, breastfeeding awareness, and holistic patient care. Officials from Himalaya Wellness also expressed their commitment towards contributing to community welfare and supporting healthcare institutions through meaningful CSR initiatives focused on maternal and child well-being.
