SAMBA, May 13: Continuing its drive against illegal mining, Samba Police has seized three vehicles in the jurisdiction of Police Station Samba which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material.
Police teams headed by SHO PS Samba and Incharges of Police Posts Rakh Amb Talli & Mansar of PS Samba while performing patrolling duty in their jurisdictional areas have seized two dumpers bearing registration Nos. JK21G-9091, JK14C-7505 and a tractor trolley without No. which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material in the area.
The above-mentioned vehicles have been seized by Samba Police and handed over to the Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further legal action. |
