Zonal meeting of Bharat Tibet Sahyog Manch held

JAMMU, May 27: First Meeting of the Zonal Conveners and In charges of Bharat Tibet Sahyog Manch was held yesterday. This meeting was attended by over 40 officers of the national team viz. national general secretaries, in charges specialized cells, besides zonal conveners, deputy conveners and in charges.
Maj Gen SK Sharma, AVSM (Retd), who was appointed as the National President, Bharat Tibet Sahyog Manch this year, welcomed all participants for this first meeting of the Zonal level officials after the last annual general body meeting. He congratulated all participants for gathering public support in their respective zones, establishing over 60 chapters in various cities and dedicated cells in around 60 universities.
Pankaj Goel, Organizational Secretary, gave details of the organizational goals and explained the need to be more proactive at the grass root level. Ravinder Gupta, National Senior General Secretary, gave details of the ongoing activities including the forth coming ones in the ensuing months. He said that Kailash Mansrovar yatra will be organized during July August whereas the yatra to Twang (Arunachal Pradesh) will be undertaken during Nov 2026.
Priti Sagar, National Convenor Environmental Cell, informed that 5th June 2026 is the National Environment Day which should be celebrated by all in the country. She stressed on planting trees, avoiding plastics, saving water bodies, and making use of medicinal plants within the crops etc. It was appreciated by all. Sudha Acharaya also joined her and explained her experiences. She is very popular for her Chidiya Ghar (sparrow house) which she has made in her house.
Rajendra Kamdar, National General Secretary conducted the proceedings of the meeting meticulously.
Others from J&K who are very active in this Manch and participated are Anuradha, National Women General Secretary, Sanjeev Manmotra, Convener North Zone and Dr. Vivek Sharma, National Deputy Convener, Intellect Cell.
