Shri Mata Kheer Bhawani Yatra Welfare Society meets Divisional Commissioner Kashmir

SRINAGAR, June 3: Today, Convenor Mata Kheer Bhawani Welfare Society Sh. Kiran Wattal & General Secretary Sh. M.K. Yogi with excutive members Sh. Sanjay Raina, and Shuban Ji Dhar, met Sh. Anshul Garg, IAS, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, regarding the upcoming Shri Mata Kheer Bhawani Yatra 2026, scheduled from 20th June to 23rd June, from Jammu to Ganderbal.
Team MKBJYWS appreciated the commendable efforts which were made previous years under the UT Administration of LG Sh. Manoj Sinha.
During the meeting to have yatra a great success this year also discussions were held regarding arrangements for the smooth conduct of the yatra and coordination with the administration. The Welfare Society sought support and cooperation from Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Sh. Anshul Garg, IAS, Divisional Commissioner Jammu, DC Ramban, DC Kulgam, DC Anantnag, DC Srinagar, and DC Ganderbal to ensure proper facilities for yatris, including using German hangers, fullproof security, accommodation, sanitation, medical assistance, and transport.
Div Com listened patiently to the team and assured that all logistic support will be provided to ensure successful conduct of yatra this year.
It is pertinent to mention that a press conference regarding the yatra arrangements was already held recently at Amar Singh Club, Jammu, where the Welfare Society highlighted preparations and appealed for seamless administrative support for the smooth facilitation of devotees.
Later Team MKBJYWS presented pratima of Mata Kheer Bhawani as aashirwad to Div Com.
The Welfare Society expressed confidence that with coordinated efforts and strong administrative backing, the Shri Mata Kheer Bhawani Yatra 2026 will be conducted smoothly, peacefully, and successfully for all devotees.
