Srinagar, June 18: The second day of “Rise in Jammu & Kashmir 2026 – Building the Path Towards Viksit Bharat @ 2047” witnessed an overwhelming response from students, researchers, young professionals, and members of the public at the Sher-i-Kashmir International Convention Centre (SKICC), Srinagar. The event, being organized by Tarmeh Events under the guidance of Hon’ble Rajya Sabha MP Shri Ghulam Ali Khatana, continued to attract large numbers of visitors eager to explore India’s advancements in science, technology, healthcare, agriculture, infrastructure, sustainability, public services, and innovation. A major highlight of the day was the enthusiastic participation of students from various schools, colleges, universities, and technical institutions across Jammu & Kashmir. Thousands of students visited the exhibition and interacted with representatives from leading government organizations, public sector undertakings, scientific institutions, and development agencies. The students displayed keen interest in understanding the latest technological developments, research initiatives, career opportunities, government schemes, and innovation-driven projects being showcased by participating organizations. Interactive exhibits, live demonstrations, and informative displays provided them with valuable insights into emerging sectors and future career prospects. Many students described the exhibition as a unique learning experience that offered practical exposure beyond classroom education. The event enabled them to gain firsthand knowledge about the functioning and contributions of premier national institutions in areas such as space technology, scientific research, healthcare, standards and quality, agriculture, renewable energy, railways, environmental protection, and infrastructure development. Participating organizations appreciated the curiosity and enthusiasm shown by the young visitors and emphasized the importance of such platforms in inspiring the next generation of innovators, researchers, entrepreneurs, and nation-builders. The exhibition features participation from several renowned organizations including NHPC, BIS, ICMR, ISRO, CSIR, ICAR, APEDA, Indian Railway, IRCTC, SPCB,Survey of India, POWERGRID, HURL, NFL, NBCC, REC, NTPC, TRIFED, National Jute Board, NAFED, Department of Atomic Energy , NTPC , Tea Board, JAKEDA , DC Handloom , TRIFED and other leading institutions committed to India’s development journey. |
