RAJOURI, Aug 6: As part of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Campaign, the Indian Army organised an awareness lecture on "Say No to Drugs" at Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Parat, to educate students and local residents about the harmful effects of drug abuse. The session highlighted the physical, psychological and social consequences of substance addiction, while emphasising the importance of adopting a healthy, disciplined and responsible lifestyle. Participants were encouraged to stay away from narcotics, resist negative influences and become ambassadors of a drug-free society.
During the programme, The Indian Army representatives underscored the vital role of families, educational institutions and the community in preventing drug abuse and supporting individuals affected by addiction. The interactive session witnessed enthusiastic participation, with attendees taking a pledge to spread awareness and contribute towards building a healthier, safer and addiction-free nation.
