NEW DELHI, Aug 6: The Indian team of Reffa Boules India Federation today had a special meeting with H.E. István Szabó, Ambassador of Hungary to India, at the Embassy of Hungary in New Delhi. The Indian team is preparing to participate in the 4th Balaton Pétanque Festival 2026, scheduled to be held in Hungary from 1 September to 8 September 2026. A total of five members of Reffa Boules India Federation have been selected to represent India at the international sports festival. The team will be led by Mr. Sunny Nanda, India Coach and Secretary, Reffa Boules India Federation.
The selected team members are:

*Gurpreet Singh - Player
*Kaljinder Kour - Player
*Farhepreet Singh - Player
During the meeting, H.E. Ambassador István Szabó interacted with the Indian players and discussed their participation in the sport and their upcoming international competition in Hungary. The Ambassador expressed his happiness at welcoming Indian sports participants to Hungary and conveyed his best wishes to the team for the festival.
On this occasion, federation association members Simren Pal Singh and Ankur Chouhan honoured H.E. Ambassador István Szabó on behalf of Reffa Boules India Federation. The federation expressed its sincere gratitude to H.E. Mr. István Szabó, Ambassador of Hungary, for giving his valuable time to meet the Indian team, interact with the players and extend his blessings and best wishes for their participation in the international sports festival in Hungary.
